[(WF1) Shaolin Temple 1.0]

Very awesome! A really nice calm oriental feel here. However it didn't feel like a Shaolin temple...it seemed more like a garden. Now im particulary more critical then most people over oriental music cause i live here in China =P.

If you want it to seem like a temple it needs to be more spiritual/darkish. You are on the right track but you need the odd clanging noise from a monk hitting a prayer metal plate. Also maybe a gong could add lots of effect.

MONKS HUMMING!!! If you could find a soundfont or some sound clip of monks humming really low and chanting that would add a TON of feeling to the Shaolin Temple theme.

Really good song i just feel the most important part about temples is the monks and Shaolin Temple is FULL of them. (Iv never actually been to THE Shaolin temple but i have been to many similar ones)

(Let me know if you make a "Shaolin Temple 1.5" =D)

Very nice however i feel that the plucked instrument could have used some variety like a quite triplet pluck before a main note and a scale sliding. You got the feel down i just feel its a little bit plain if that makes sense?

Very VERY awesome piece. Really awesome intro that grabs interest! Sound effects are awesome! The set up is also really good!

One thing though...at 0:29 i don't like that bass...maybe try finding a more clean one?

Awesome...

This is REALLY awesome. The synths are just awesome. Bass is well control and the snare rolls are equalised perfectly!

Some suggestions: (These are just my oppinion)

1. Maybe speed up the song a bit? I seemed a little slow to me i don't thats just me =D.
2. Maybe try adding more reveerb (echo) to some of the synths.

Teh Feedback!!!

Feedback:

1. Bass = This song is missing bass and it would be so much better if it had a bass instrument and would make it sound more proffesional.
2. Beat = Hi hat needs to be turned down. Kick and Snare should be the main parts of the beat so if you turned down the hi hat it would make it sound more realistic.
3. Synths (sounds) = The starting instrument is being drowned out at times by the second high pitched one. Try turning the starting instrument's volume up and the secondary one down.
4. Set up = It is quite random however you could make an intro, chorus, and official ending. Thats up to you though. Oh maybe extend the song? I think its too short.
5. Overall = Very pleasant piece! I found it enjoyable and not painful to the ears. There's no static which shows that you have control over this song! Very calm and peaceful!

I'm actually making a game usign RPGmaker XP and most of those use MIDI but they didt sound right so i fixed it into a MP3 and using different tones on it. This is actually a remix because the orginal is very short. and ye i listend to your newest song XD its sweet.
